Many in-person events are on hold due to COVID, but organizers of National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) are finding creative ways to help consumers learn all about electric vehicles.
From socially distant car parades to Zoom presentations equipped with vehicle-specific breakout rooms (think Chevy Bolt or Audi e-tron), there’s plenty to be excited about for this year’s week-long event. Just like years past, there are NDEW events all over the country heightening awareness about EVs, EV incentives, and more.

| National Drive Electric Week – San Diego Virtual Event September 30, 2020 12:00 PM The event will have a panel of EV owners to answer all of your questions. Panelists have driven all different types of EVs – Nissan LEAF, Chevy Bolt, Volt, Hyundai Kona, Chevy Spark, Fiat 500e, Jag I-Pace, Audi e-tron, Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, Hyundai Ioniq, Tesla Model S, 3, X, Y and more. This will be an interactive session, so bring any and all questions. REGISTER Ventura National Drive Electric Week – EV 101 Lunch & Learn October 2, 2020 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Electric Drive 805 will host an EV 101 Lunch and Learn to provide an overview of which 100+ mpge electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids are available and information on current incentives, charging, range, and pairing solar with EVs. There will also be a Q&A session with EV drivers. REGISTER National Drive Electric Week – San Luis Obispo Virtual Event – EVmatch’s own Heather Hochrein will be a panelist! September 30, 2020 12:00 PM Join in on a Zoom webinar discussing how government and industry are adopting policies, providing financial incentives, and rolling out new technology to make it easier and more convenient to own and operate an EV. Panelists will include representatives from the City of SLO, the SLO Air Pollution Control District, Central Coast Community Energy, Central Coast Clean Cities Coalition (C5), and EVmatch. All attendees are automatically entered into prize drawings with winners announced throughout the webinar. EV drivers will share the benefits of ownership with vehicle show and tell. Learn about vehicle and charging station funding and rebate resources, plus all the numerous City of Richmond public and private EV charging hubs and clean air initiatives.
